James
Hair
Dec 21, 1959 — Sep 29, 2026
Colbert
James Clayton "Jim" Hair, age 66, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026, in Colbert, Oklahoma, with his family by his side. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a family who loved him deeply. He was born December 21, 1959 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Glen Hair and Nettie Sue Hair.
Jim was a simple man who loved a simple life and unlike so many others he didn't need much to be happy. What mattered most to him was his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a cherished brother. His greatest joy came from spending time with the people he loved and watching his family grow.
Jim also loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He enjoyed the peace and quiet of being outside, away from the busyness of everyday life. Whether sitting by the water with a fishing pole or spending time in the woods, these were some of the moments that made him the happiest.
Jim will be remembered for his quiet nature, his quick sense of humor, his love of the outdoors, and most of all, his unwavering love for his family.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Cheryl Hair, his children; Savannah Hightower, Katherine Cole, James Hair and wife Vanessa Hair. His beloved grandchildren Bradyn Barnett, Erica Mitchell, Mya Mitchell, Ashton Mueller, Everly Cole and brother Scott Hair along with countless memories that will be treasured forever.
He was preceded in death by his Father Glen Hair, Mother Nettie Hair, Brothers Steve and Randy Hair, Sisters Mary Hair and Melissa Perkins.
Though his absence leaves a space that can never be filled, his family will carry his love and his memory with them. Every fishing trip, every day spent outdoors, every laugh, and every quiet moment will be a reminder of the man they were blessed to call Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Brother and Friend.
