Jack Melton Sanders, 94, was born August 11, 1930 and passed away June 30, 2025.

He was a 1947 graduate of Collinsville High School and a graduate of Cooke County Junior College.  He married Veta Gaskin on March 18, 1952.  They were married for 69 years at the time of her passing.   They had two children, Gail and Dennis.

Jack was proud of his military service.   He was in the Air Force for four years from 9/6/1950 to 9/5/54.  He was a B36 Bomber Mechanic and also worked at Carswell Air Force Bass, Perrin Air Force Base and Oscar Mayer.   Jack was a rancher, he enjoyed his farm; he was very handy and could fix or build anything.

He is survived by Son, Dennis Sanders; Niece, Debbie Patterson and numerous other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, Roy and Edith Sanders; Wife, Veta Sanders; Daughter; Gail Hiser; Sister, Mozelle McWhorter and Brother, Jimmy Sanders.

Services will be held at 9:00 am, Thursday, July 3, 2025 at The Pavillion at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro.  Officiating will be Rick Carney.
