Gregory Scott Nieuwenhuyse, age 62, of Valley View, TX, passed away at his residence, with his family near, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Gregory was born on February 26, 1961 in Minot, ND to Harry T Nieuwenhuyse and Constance (Hutchinson) Nieuwenhuyse.  After Greg was born in Minot, ND they moved to Ramstein Air Base in Miesenbach Germany.  Greg did not come back to the United States until he was 17 where he then joined the Navy.  He was a High School graduate and then continued his education and obtained a Master's Degree.  He was married 32 years to Ja'net  Edge. He also proudly served his country and went into the Navy at 17 where the Navy gave him all his degrees and Master in Avionics/Aeronautics.  He was employed at Field Tech in Fort Worth, TX. in the United States Navy. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Ja'net Nieuwenhuyse of Valley View, TX, his children; Chrystal Skelton & Rodney of Krum, TX, Johnathan Dickson & Amanda of Denton, TX, Jessica Dickson of Gainesville, TX, his sister; Tammy Herbet of Gainesville, TX, his brother; Brad & Vonnie of Melissa, TX, seven grandchildren; Devon Gabehart, Isabella Spindle, Ethan Scott Spindle, Jade Dickson, Evan Dickson, Austin Dickson, Holly Dickson, other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers; Michael and Steve Nieuwenhuyse.
