Gerrad Michael Kelley passed away in Garland, Texas on June 6, 2024; he was 50 years old.

Gerrad was born in Houston, Texas on July 16, 1973. He grew up in Richardson, TX.

Gerrad was fiercely loyal and generous with family and friends. Gerrad loved being an uncle to his nephew, Andy, and his three nieces Samantha, Addison, and Hayden. The majority of his friendships had been long-term friendships of 40+ years. Gerrad was a San Francisco 49er fan from a young age and enjoyed razzing his siblings and anyone else who followed the Dallas Cowboys. Gerrad was a tinkerer and extremely resourceful; he could fix almost anything electronic or mechanical. He often spent time fixing broken computers, phones and bicycles; most of which he then gave away to anyone in need. He worked for several years as a stagehand, primarily doing stage lighting. His co-workers knew him as "Sleepy". He could be funny as well as infuriating.  Gerrad lived life on his terms. He was strongly opinionated, and was not afraid to share those opinions, even if no one asked. He maintained a kind soul while fighting personal demons. He will be missed tremendously.

Gerrad is preceded in death by his father, Larry Kelley, grandparents, Alan and Faye Amsden and John and Laverne Kelley. He is survived by his mother, Stacy Stone, stepfather John Stone and his siblings Josh Kelley and Shannon Elarde.
