E. Gail Wood, age 88, of Sherman, TX, passed away peacefully at The Homestead of Denison, TX on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.  Gail was born on September 16, 1934 in Albuquerque, NM to Byron Morgan and Mildred (Ford) Morgan.  She was a High School graduate and was a housewife, a very important task.  She will be greatly missed by all she loved and that loved her.

Left to cherish her memory is her children; Teri Merrell & William of Taos, NM, and Karen Christensen & Tom of Sherman, TX, her nine grandchildren; Joshua Merrell, Jessica Stillion, Tamra Merrell, Shawn Christensen, Ben Christensen, Chandra Woodcock, Robby Wood, Jonathan Wood, Charles Wood, numerous great-grandchildren, other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; James E. Wood in 2014, her parents; Bryon and Mildred Morgan, her sister; Louise Clelland, and her son; Randy Wood.

The family is planning a service with the date to be announced.
