She was born to Rosy (Hughes) and Homer Hampton on December 31, 1936 in Dixie, Texas. She was a loving mother/grandmother. Many simply knew and called her Nanna, because she treated and loved people like her own family. She showed her love for others through cooking, chatting, and gathering. Her sense of humor was unmatched. She would make you laugh all day long with her witty sayings.

She is survived by her daughter, Christy Lucius, and husband, Paul of Whitesboro; sister Lena Richardson of Commerce; granddaughter, Aubry Debord and husband, Scott Debord & great-grandchildren, Kaleah, Parker, Noah & Hadlee Debord;  grandsons, Derek Davis and Logan Lucius of Whitesboro, son John Lemons of Whitesboro, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosy and Homer Hampton; husband, Graydon Wilson; daughter, Becky Wilson Byers; brothers, Roy Dean Hampton and James Hampton, and her sister, Marie Alice Grafton.
