Dustin was welcomed into the gates of Heaven on July 17, 2025, at the age of 48.  He fought a long battle with Interstitial Lung Disease for 12 years.  He was born to Danny Wilson and Patsy Walkup on October 29, 1976.  Dustin accepted Jesus as his savior on April 11, 1991 and was baptized at Ector Baptist church on April 21, 1991,  He graduated from  Celeste High School in 1995 and earned an associates degree in nursing at Paris Junior College in 2007.  He worked as an RN until May 2016, 3 years after being diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease .

Dustin enjoyed cooking, sports, gun collecting , watching the western channel, and dabbled a little with stocks and bitcoin.  Dustin was also very opinionated especially when it came to politics.  He enjoyed  getting into heated debates on Facebook about politics and was usually in Facebook jail for his comments.   During football season Dustin would be a part of many fantasy leagues and somehow usually ended up winning at least 1-2 each season.  He was also a loyal Cowboys fan, even after many disappointing seasons, he still never missed a Cowboys game.

He enjoyed collecting and selling sports cards.   This led to many new friendships for him.   Dustin was a master chef on the grill, his special was steak.  Actually he could cook just about anything and it would turn out so wonderful.  You could always count on Dustin to support your
child's fund raiser especially if he could get some candy.

Dustin is survived by his wife Jennifer Wilson Sons Zachariah Wilson  and Lucas Wilson,  daughters Emily Love and Dani Wilson and
stepdaughter Graci Whisenant:.

Dustin is preceded in death by his mother Patsy Wilson, brother Danny Merle Wilson, Grandparents Ina Dell Walkup, Frank Mac Walkup, Danny Merle Wilson SR and Mary Alice Tepe

We will have a Celebration of his life on Monday July 28, 2025 at 10 am at Ector Baptist Church in Ector Texas.
