Douglas Allen Huffman was born October 28, 1948 to J. D. and Valdene Huffman in Brownfield, Texas.

He was raised and graduated from Seagraves High School.  After school he joined the Army and served in Vietnam.

Several years later he moved to Kansas and worked and retired from Sunflower Electric.

In 2010, he married Cathy Fields and moved to Sherman.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother Ronnie.

He is survived by his wife of the home, stepsons Scott Fields of Sherman, and Brian Fields and his wife Rebecca. Three grandchildren, Savannah, Matthew and Brittney, and two nephews and a niece.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
