It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Debra "Debbie" Welty, who left us on January 21, 2024. Debbie, born on September 25, 1958, in Ada, Oklahoma, to her parents Beatrice Quick and Robert Cameron.

Debbie grew up in Ada, where she attended Ada High School, graduating in 1976. It was here that she met her future husband, Jay Trantham, with whom she shared 20 years of marriage and raised three wonderful children: Bryan, Kimberly, and Aaron.

After high school, Debbie's journey took her to Nebraska and the Texas Panhandle before she found her home in North Texas. She spent most of her professional life in retail, but in her later years, she found joy in running deli departments, showcasing her knack for connecting with people and her culinary skills.

Debbie was a kind-hearted soul, known for her deep love for her family and her ability to make lasting friendships wherever she went. Her love extended to animals, particularly her three dogs, Jake, Sarge, and Lola, and her cat, Gabby.

She leaves behind a loving family: her son Bryan Trantham of Anna, Texas; her daughter Kimberly Trantham and her husband Charles Beasley of Denison, Tx; her son Aaron Trantham and his wife Randi of Corinth, Tx; her cherished grandchildren Kamden and Landrie Beasley; Bryan Luke Trantham and Aaliyah Suarez; and her brother Daryl Jacquess and his wife Lorna. She is preceded in death by her mother Beatrice Quick, her brother Bobby Cameron, and her sister June Poindexter.

Debbie's legacy is one of love, kindness, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, at 11:00 A.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada, Oklahoma.
