Debra Ann Morris, age 68, of Whitesboro, TX, passed away on September 27, 2023, at her residence with her family by her side.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of American Funeral Service, Denison, TX.  Debra was born on July 8, 1955, to Clarence Sutton Jr. and Mary Bridges Sutton in Muenster, TX.  Debra was a cook at the Gainesville State School for 24 years until she retired.

She is survived by her daughters; Candice Morris of Whitesboro, TX, Doreen Morris of Marietta, OK, grandchildren; Krysta Wood, Dakota Wood, Dustin Wood, Trey Robinson, Tristan Sampson, Hunter Sampson and Nathan Sampson, her mother; Mary Sutton and sister; Ruthann Klutts.

Debra is preceded in death by her father; Clarence Sutton and great-grandson; Walker Wood.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
