Deborah Ann Freeman, age 62, of Sherman, TX, passed away peacefully at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, TX, on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Deborah was born on November 19, 1961 in Bonham, TX to James Harris and Brenda (Green) Harris.  She graduated from high school and also attended college.  She formerly was employed as a health care worker, retiring from Wilson N Jones Hospital in Sherman.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

Debbie was a loving mother, sister, aunt and daughter.  A kind and helpful soul that is now in the loving arms of her beloved mother Brenda Sue and she is holding her late son Joshua West in heaven. Her favorite thing to do with her children was cloud catching.

Left to cherish her memory is her father; James Harris of Sherman, TX, two children; Deveney Abernathy & Dustin of Sherman, TX, and Nick Freeman & Kalla of Sherman, TX, her two brothers; Dwayne Harris & Janice of Sherman, TX, James Kelley Harris of Sherman, TX, two nephews; Josh Harris and Christopher Harris, five grandchildren; Sarah, Alec, Nick JR, Therrin, and Nixie Ann, other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Stephen Freeman in 2021, and her mother; Brenda Harris.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, 2:00 P.M. at Akers Cemetery, Sherman, TX, with Richard Gage officiating.  Interment will follow.  Family and friends visitation will be Monday, October 28, 2024, 6 – 8 P.M. at the American Funeral Service..
