David Howard Wiest, age 71, of Sherman, TX, peacefully passed away at Carrus Hospital, Friday, March 15, 2024.  David was born on July 28, 1952 in Henrietta, TX to Albert Ruben Wiest and Jessie Genevieve (Ryan) Wiest.  He was a High School graduate and also attained an associate degree.  He was married to Linda Edwards.  David was formerly employed as a computer drafter.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife; Linda Wiest of Van Alstyne, TX, his children; Justin Wiest & Catherine of Arizona and Michele Johnson & Jay of Wichita, TX, his sister; Alice Perry & Mike of Eastland, TX, eight grandchildren; Nicholas, Cody & Lyla Plumlee, Harley & Laci Trammell, Max, Grady & Lizzy Wiest, three great-grand-children; Mabel, Claire & Norah, other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Albert & Jessie Wiest.
