David Lee Walker, age 78, of Gainesville, TX, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.  David was born on July 06, 1944 in Whitesboro, TX to Charles E. Walker & Ida (Diegel) Walker. He was a High School graduate and was formerly employed as an electrician in construction.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter; Brenda McDowell & Don of Whitesboro, TX, his brother; Archie Walker of Slidel, TX, his three grandchildren; Monica McDowell Levi McDowell Walker McDowell, three great-grandchildren; Cannon McDowell, Nash Dowell, Dutton McDowell, other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Oma Walker in 2021, his parents; Charles & Ida Walker and his son; Wesley Walker.
