Danny Paul Smith, age 68, of Durant, OK  passed away peacefully at Alliance Hospital, Durant, OK on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.  Danny was born on September 15, 1955 in Tishomingo, OK to Wesley William Smith and Mildred (Paul) Smith. He married Anita Smith.  Formerly he was employed in transportation as a truck driver.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Anita Smith of Boswell, OK, his children; Tyler Smith & Hailey Warner of Greenville, TX, Christina Bayless of DeQueen, Arkansas, Sara Crabtree & Takeda of Maine, Eric Crabtree & Marissa of Dean, TX, eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Wesley & Mildred Smith and his sister; Willie Mae Gloria.

The family is planning a service with the date to be announced later.
