Daniel Wayne Cox, age 51, of Gainesville, TX, peacefully passed away at his resident on Sunday, April 21, 2024.  Daniel was born on July 11, 1972 in Gainesville, TX to Jack Franklin Cox and Gwen (Dutton) Cox.  He was a High School graduate and was employed in construction as a cement truck driver.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother; Gwen Carver of Gainesville, TX, his brother; Scottie Cox of Sherman, TX, his sister; Jackie Bryan of Sherman, TX, his niece; Kaelyn Rachelle Cox of Whitesboro, TX, his nephew; Charles Jeffery Bryan & Lauri of Gainesville, TX, other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; Jack Franklin Cox.
