Obituary

Cindy Butler was born to Pamela Salers and Jerry Beck on November 2, 1973 in Louisville, Mississippi. She passed away June 25, 2024 in Denison, Texas at the age of 50.

Cindy and her husband Scott married July 4, 1997 and celebrated their 26th anniversary in 2023. She was a stay at home mother to their two daughters Morgan and Jessica. She was involved in all of her children's extracurriculars and cheered them on (loudly) in any event they were involved in. She was an animal lover through and through who took great joy in being attached at the hip with her four legged best friend Bentley. She enjoyed writing poetry, drawing amazing pictures, watching movies with her husband, listening to good music and spoiling her grandchildren. She always had a funny joke or interesting fact to entertain you with as well as a great listening ear and a knack for funny advice. She was the ultimate prankster. But above all she was a wife, mother and grandmother among many other titles that she wore with pride and love. Her personality was one of a kind and there will never be another like her. Rest in peace and paradise. Love you always.

John 16:22 So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

Cindy is survived by her husband Scott Butler; daughter Morgan Adkins and husband Travis Adkins; daughter Jessica Wanner and husband Logan Wanner; grandchildren: Shaylee Adkins and Addison Adkins; Gracie Guthrie; mother Pamela Hanko; Nancy Longwell; sister Lorna Hanko; sister Teresa Beck and nephew Christian Guthrie.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
