Clara Azilee Anderson Logston entered into eternal life on November 13, 2024, at the age of 98.  She was born June 2, 1926, in Caddo OK to Roy Edward Anderson and Mary Gertrude Eslick Anderson.  She graduated from Caddo High School in 1944, as valedictorian. She married William (Pete) Logston on June 12, 1946. They were married 45 years, until his death in 1991.

She worked at Quaker Oats in Sherman for 28 years.  She then worked at Johnson and Johnson until she retired.  She lived her adult life in Sherman TX until her husband passed, then she lived in Colbert for 33 years.

She was a long time member of the Church of Christ in Colbert. She was a devout Christian, living a life of servitude to others.  She loved to garden, sew, and many other crafts, in addition to working crossword puzzles. She loved to bake and make candy for others during the holidays.  She was a pillar in the church kitchen whenever she was needed.

She is survived by two sisters, Rosemary Parker and Sandra Mannery, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, as well as brothers Clifton Anderson and Donald Anderson, sisters Betty Anderson Horn and Sue Anderson Hair.  Nephews Steve Hair, Randy Hair, Bill Horn, and nieces Patti Horn and Missy Perkins.

Services will be Friday November 15, at 2:00.  Visitation will be during the hour prior to services, at 1:00. Interment will follow at Cedarlawn Cemetary in Sherman.

Pallbearers will be Andy Horn, Jim Hair, Scott Hair, Michael Mannery, Jason Parker, and Phil Weger.
