Christina Lea Thomas was born on August 26, 1962, the firstborn child of Gerald H. (Jerry) and Ellen May Thomas in Lynwood, California.  She passed from this life on September 6, 2024 at the age of 62 years and 11 days.

She worked at OU for 34 years as Staff Assistant IV.  She loved her job and was proud to tell people where she worked.  Christina loved sewing and especially loved making quilts for loved ones and friends.  She was last a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Norman, Oklahoma where she also served as secretary.

Christina is preceded in death by her grandparents, Homer & Billie Thomas and Milton & Louise Fuller and in 2007 by her mother Ellen May Thomas.  She is survived by her children Brandy Thomas of Noble, Oklahoma and Joshua Thomas and wife Hannah of North Richland Hills, Texas and her precious grandchildren, Naythen, Katie, Jacob, Cori, Noah, Amelia, Taylor, Daxton and Blayke.  She is also survived by her father, Jerry Thomas and wife Lyn, three sisters, Nina Linehan, Lorie Alexander and husband, Steven and Jabez Dela Cruz, 4 nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, 10:00 A.M.  at Rosehill Cemetery, Calera, OK with Pastor Steven Alexander officiating.  Interment will follow the service.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Thomas, Naythen Farr., Jacob Farr, Noah Thomas, Caleb Alexander and Jerry Linehan.
