Chester Lee Teel, age 77, of Sherman, TX, peacefully passed away on Friday September 22, 2023 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, TX. Chester was born on November 01, 1945 in Greenville, TX to Grady Teel and Rilla Teel.  He was a graduate of High School and also had a degree in Engineering.  He married Yvonne.  He was a minister and taught many people about Jesus. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Yvonne Teel of Sherman, TX, his children; Janet Mayes & Kenny of Tom Bean, TX, Terry Teel & Cherie of Highland Village, TX, Sharon Simpson & Les of Sherman, TX, Julie Baula & Chris of Sherman, TX, Matthew Teel & Brigette of Denison, TX, step-children; DeLana  McFaden & John of Paris, TX,  Brian Burks of Austin, TX, his sister; Linda Santana & Jesse of Lake Tawakoni, TX, his brother; Bobby Teel & Beth of Dallas, TX, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Grady & Rilla Teel, three brothers; Butch Teel, Cecil Teel, & David Teel.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Victory Life Church, Sherman, TX.  Family and friends visitation will be from 1-2 pm prior to service.
