Brenda Lee Compton, age 69, of Sherman, TX peacefully passed away at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, TX, on Monday, July 15, 2024. Brenda was born on April 02, 1955 in Flint, Michigan to Max Lee and Elaine (Reed) Lee.  She was a high school graduate and also attended college.  She married Duane Compton.  Brenda was formerly employed as a factory worker. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband; Duane Compton of Sherman, TX, her three children; Katrina Dugan & John of Sherman, TX, Charles Compton of Las Vegas, NV, Deanna Compton of Sherman, TX, her adopted daughter; Lisa Cockrum and partner Jason Ross of Denison, TX, two sisters; Kathy Bush & Ron of Michigan, Gail Morris & John of Belton, MO, two brothers; Vern Lee of Grand Rapids, MI, Curtis Lee of Sparta, MI, six grandchildren; Alexia Adams, Haley Compton, Marcus Compton, Mary Ann Morris, Casey Morris, Mason Leek, other extended family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Max and Elaine Lee, sister; Terry Bowmaster, Terry's husband; David Bowmaster, niece; Meredith Bowmaster and her grandson; Timothy McClung.
