Austin Seth Maine, age 76 of Pottsboro, TX, passed away peacefully at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, TX, on Monday, November 06, 2023. Austin was born on May 22, 1947 in California to Seth D. Maine and Pauline (Freed) Maine.  He was a High School graduate and continued his education and attained a Master's Degree.   He was married to Linnea Rucker. He worked in agriculture as a commercial fisherman.  He proudly served his country in the United States Marine's.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his spouse; Linnea Rucker of Pottsboro, TX, sons; Billy Bodish of Washington and Curt Bodish of Washington, his daughters; Brady Lee of Florida and Destiny McKeehan of Portland, Oregon, three step-sons; Josh Allen Rucker of Pottsboro, TX, Jennifer Rucker of Tacoma Washington and Cory Rucker of TX, his brother; Randal Maine of Dallas, TX, several grandchildren, other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Seth and Pauline Maine, sister; Charlene McKeehan and his son; Ronnie Maine.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 12, 2023, 4:00 P.M. at American Funeral Service Chapel, Denison, TX with Richard Gage officiating.  Family and friends visitation will be held one prior to service at 3:00 P.M..
