Anna Louise Jestis, age 80, of Cartwright, OK, passed away peacefully, with her family near, on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at her residence.  Anna was born on April 22, 1942 in Poteau, OK to Ernest Harold Kersh and Evelyn (Pruitt) Kersh.  She was a High School graduate.  Her most important job in life was being a housewife, raising her children and caring for her family and friends.  She will be greatly missed by all her loved ones.

Left to cherish her memory is her children; David Jestis of Bokchito, OK and Theresa Comeaux & Chris of Cartwright, OK, her four grandchildren; Carrie Simpson  & husband Matt, Brandy Lynn &husband Erik, Tyler Comeaux & wife Tosha, Michaela Jestis and eight great-grandchildren; Logan, Allison, Cole, McKenzie, Spencer, Tucker, Nolan, Carter, other extended family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Ernest & Evelyn Kersh, her husband; Danny Jestis Sr in 2009, step-father; Harold Chitwood, son; Danny Jestis Jr, and her sister; Kaye Kellum.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023, 3:00 P.M. at American Funeral Service Chapel, Colbert, OK with Richard Gage officiating.  Family and friends visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
