Angela Kaye
Gardner
Jul 3, 1965 — May 1, 2023
Oklahoma City
Angela Kaye Gardner passed from this life peacefully on the evening of May 1, 2023, with her loving daughter by her side. Angela was born on July 3, 1965 in Durant, OK to Junior Honeysuckle and Frances (McDonald) Honeysuckle.
Angela was one that had many flaws in her past and never tried to hide that, but in the latter years of her life, she made her best efforts to overcome and make up for those flaws. Angela would whole heartedly do whatever possible to make sure that her grandson, Trenten Hill, was as happy as possible and to show him all the love in the world. Also her handsome little fur baby, Polar, could always be found by her side enjoying all of the finest she could spoil him with. Polar always brought great joy to Angela's life. After all Polar was her baby too, making him Sasha's little brother. Angela often teased Sasha with this; although Sasha thought of him the same way.
During the holidays, Angela always took note of those less fortunate then herself, especially those without family close by. After family dinner was done, Angela would always have Sasha make and deliver plates to those on her list.
Angela was a one of a kind woman. She loved people and treated everyone as family. She was a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen, but she would always include a healthy dose of her own honest and heartfelt advice. Some of our most cherished reflections are when she would come down for a visit to her father-in-law, Harold Gardner of Durant, OK and gather family up to create special memories for all to keep.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter; Sasha Gardner of Bennington, OK, her sister; Margie Brewer of Silo, OK, her brothers; James Honeysuckle of Texas and Everett Honeysuckle of Durant, OK, her grandchild; Trenten Hill, her favorite pet; Polar, other extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother; Curtis Honeysuckle.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2023, 3:00 P.M. at American Funeral Service Chapel, Colbert, OK with Richard Gage officiating. Family and friends visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
