Shannon Leighanne Kirby

Shannon LeighAnne Kirby, of Austin, Texas, went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2012. Shannon was born on March 4, 1977 in Denison, Texas, to Gary L. Kirby and Linda Baker Harbison, She attended schools in both Denison, TX and Sherman, TX.. She was employed as an executive assistant for several major companies in both Dallas,TX and Austin, TX. Shannon has been active in charities for many years and loved to help others, as shown in her relations with her own family as well as her friends and anyone else in need. Even now, her loving nature lives on. She was a registered donor of the Ft. Worth Eye Bank. She considered Austin, TX her home. She attended church there for many years and she was strong in her Christian faith. Shannon will be greatly missed by all. She is now in the loving arms of our Savior and her Mamaw. Surviving family members are mother and step-father, Linda and Jerre Harbison of Denison, TX, and her father and step-mother Gary & Cherry Kirby of Sherman, TX, brother, Brian Kirby and Julie, Denison, TX, sister, Michelle Rance and Robin of Ponce Inlet, FL, seven nephews and five nieces. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at American Funeral Services Chapel, 4312 W. Crawford St. Denison, TX. The Reverend Raymond England of the Trinity Lighthouse Assembly of God will officiate. Interment will be at Cedarlawn Memorial Park at a later date (for immediate family).
